Loyola University Faculty to Announce Plans for Contract Bargaining Actions

CHICAGO – After almost two years of unproductive bargaining sessions, Loyola University non-tenure track faculty will hold a press conference Friday announcing plans for next steps in their efforts to reach a fair contract agreement with the administration.

While tuition has increased by nearly fifty percent over the last decade, non-tenure track pay has remained stagnant over the same period. The faculty members are prepared to take bold, public actions if the university fails to agree to significant changes to wages, benefits or job security by the end of the month.
