Silencing Student Reporters, Faculty and Community
Recently a controversy erupted over Loyola’s limiting speech and media policy. The school newspaper reported unprecedented changes imposed by the administration on student reporters’ ability to submit inquiries and questions. Even though the policy has since been revised, after much outcry, it raises serious questions on the university’s transparency and willingness to answer serious questions that directly relate to students.
